Introduction_3

He was standing behind an enormous sofa. There was a head visible, as if the owner was sitting on the sofa, watching the wall. The only noise you could hear was of the rain falling heavily on the ceiling. The doubts had assaulted him again. "Hello?" he said. There was no response from the head. It did not even turned to see who had spoken. He was mortally afraid this time. Anyway, he could not say why it was having such an impact on him, after all, it could just be deaf. He walked across the room, looking at it as he walked. The decoration on the walls was falling. The ceiling was heavy with dark stains. His steps made quite a lot of noise when he walked. Afraid that something might happen, he stopped walking. But, as time passed, he found out that he could not keep out his gaze from the head. Trying not to think that he might be doing something insane, he closed his eyes, and began walking towards the front of the sofa. When he thought he was exactly in front of it, he slowly opened his eyes. Immediately, his thoughts and his legs froze. He was staring at a corpse. It had a nasty looking deep cut in the right side of his chest. The eyes were still open, and his face was twisted in a sort of "help! help me please!". He had to muster all his strength to stop looking at that face. He made a motion to get away from it, but in that moment, a slow, deep voice, cut the air towards him. "So you've come. We've been waiting for you."
